Today was a perfect day to celebrate my man’s birthday in the San Bernardino Mountains.

Boulder Bay Park

We did a little off-roading and visited a ghost town (Belleville). It was a gold mining town that lasted about ten years. Everyone moved away when it became difficult to find more gold and the winters were harsh.

Holcomb Valley

There was a grave there as well (Wilbur’s grave), but I did not get pictures of that. Interesting place and beautiful area (Holcomb Valley).
