Yoga for Beginners - Just What I Need

Yoga for Beginners - Just What I Need

We got a dog, school started, we rescued two kitties - on top of just the regular life with kids and work. I haven’t been walking because I am still trying to get my new routine down. I have been stressed and not walking to balance my busy day out is affecting me, so I need to do something in my room that’s easy and I can do at anytime. So, I went on youtube and found some yoga to do! This is what I’m starting with:

She’s awesome. I was so excited to tell my daughter about her, but before I could finish she said, “Is it Yoga with Adriene?” Apparently I am the last to know about her, I am seriously loving her and so glad I found her. I quickly grabbed an easy morning video, street yoga video (something I can do standing anywhere off the mat) and a bedtime video.

I just love her personality.

It’s so easy to get wrapped up in our busy schedules, but our bodies will let us know when we need to slow down. We can either add some balance to our days, or forced to stop by sickness and exhaustion. In addition to the videos, I hope you enjoy these quotes about yoga:

In truth yoga doesn’t take time – it gives time.

Shiva Rea

Doing anything with attention to how you feel is doing yoga.

Jean Couch

The answers you seek never come when the mind is busy, they come when the mind is still.
